Not gonna lie, I really wanted to like this bag from Troubadour Goods. It has a clean look and seemed like it would be great for everyday work use, but the comfort just isn’t there for me. The straps feel stiff and started digging into my shoulders after even a short walk. The weight also sits awkwardly on my back, even when I don’t have much in it. It looks good, sure, but I need a work bag to actually feel comfortable to carry. I ended up stopping using it after just a few days

I’ve been using my Troubadour bag pretty much every day for work and travel, and annoyingly enough, it’s still in great shape. The zips are holding up, the fabric hasn’t torn, and it doesn’t look like it’s been dragged through life with me. it’s tougher than I expected, how inconveniently impressive

I bought a backpack from Troubadour and overall the quality seems decent, but the fit just feels a little off for me. It looked slimmer online, and my laptop is a tight squeeze in the sleeve, which is annoying when I’m trying to pack quickly.

What bothered me more was that it felt like it hadn’t been handled very carefully before it got to me. The packaging looked a bit roughed up, and the bag didn’t feel as neatly presented as I’d expect for the price. I’ll still use it, but it’s not as comfortable when full as I hoped, and I wish the sizing details had been clearer.

My order showed up really nicely packed, and everything was in good condition with no bends or scratches. The box looked clean and presentable without feeling too fancy. I’m taking off one star because there was a little more wrapping than seemed necessary, I get wanting to protect the item, but it’s only decent to avoid extra waste when you can.

It holds all my gear without feeling like I’m cramming stuff in. I was kind of surprised by how much I could fit in there... definitely makes packing up way easier

I really like how this bag looks, and it does feel well made. My 14-inch laptop fits in it just fine, so there’s no issue there. But am I wrong for expecting a bit more padding on the bottom? It just doesn’t feel as cushioned as I thought it would for carrying a laptop. I think it’s totally fine for everyday use if you’re careful with it, but I definitely wouldn’t feel comfortable tossing it around. Overall, it’s not bad at all, just not quite as protective as I hoped...

I picked this up for work and so far I’m happy with it. When it’s empty, the weight feels really reasonable, and it has a solid feel without being bulky. My laptop fits in nicely too and doesn’t make the bag feel awkward or lopsided. Compared to my old bag, it’s... well, it definitely feels better in a lot of ways. The only reason I’d give it 4 stars is that once I throw in my charger, water bottle, and a few other things, it does start to feel a bit heavy on longer walks. Still, overall I’m glad I got it.
